No Audio Over Hdmi Without Rebooting.
I have been through every setting on my Samsung ln-t2642h and I have gotten nowhere. It would be good to know that I got as well a Samsung LA40A550P1 series 5 model. The sound was coming from the PC monitor, but not from the TV. I'm not alone in experiencing this problem:NUC HTPC Sound issuesThis post is "solved" since someone from Intel says that it's "expected behavior" since the NUC doesn't have a sound device. If I reward the tv about 3-5 times the sounds starts working without issue all day.

Restart Audio Service Windows 10 Maybe the Linux drivers don't share this issue.I run OpenELEC and although it's not on a NUC I still have receiver issues. This a) eliminates the issue of graphical corruption in the XBMC interface, but also b) doesn't jack up the VC-1 playback problems. If all you're using is XBMC maybe consider the Linux version, or just install OpenElec?

I don't have any experience with this specific video card, but on others that is the way it works. The new driver was part of my (Intel Iris 5100) Display driver files and located in a folder called "DisplayAudio". Its quite the pain, since my monitor is set to sleep 5 mins after not using it to deter my toddler. It seems that I now have the behavior I want! It stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface.
Point is however, Windows 7 has a strange way to react on using the same function multiple times.
But when I searched this link, the HDMI drivers were nowhere found. You can Google for the latest drivers. The time now is 09:13. What im finding is that when I wake up my monitors the audio stops. After I updated my laptop, I went to adjust the sound and I noticed that I had 3 sound devices that all said Speakers.
