WEIRD STUFF GOING ON HERE. I WAS wondering it some configuration item was causing it, but there are a TON of settings to play with. If you still have the speakers on there and it still doesn't work because it says that you don't have anything installed go click on computer, then click on manage then All rights reserved.

I get no sound say for example if I watch a youtube video. The playback device does indicate that there is sound being played (via the green status bar) but nothing comes out HDMI port or hadphone socket.
