I replaced the keyboard a couple days later with the new one, and when I turned on my laptop, it works... But then, when i checked the driver version again, it again said 19.0..something. Coming out of sleep is a throw of the dice as to whether the touchpad is working or not. And then, as expected, my touchpad stops working after sleep/hibernation again. If you have done all the fixes, the problem is most likely with the touchpad itself on the laptop. Thank you so much for reporting this.
